Name: Dexter Collins. (Nickname: Dex or Pokedex, he isnt amused by that name though, since the others call him that to make fun of him)

Personality: He tries to play cool but is actually quite clumsy. He is pretty stubborn, if there is something he wants he stays persistent until he gets it. Cant stand failures, hes a bit arrogant and likes to add sarcastic comments.

History: He likes to collect stones, minerals, fossils and the like.
When he was little he went out to collect more stones for his stone collection, he searched near a cave.
He noticed something shiny near the cave. Thinking it was a rare stone he made his way to the shiny thing, but it was moving right into the cave, so he followed it.
It went deeper and deeper, he could barely see anything but he kept following the shiny thing until it stopped.
It turned out that the shiny stones he followed was a Pokemon.
The Sableye turned around and faced the little boy, with a creepy grin the Pokemon was about to attack the boy but a random Zubat which was living in the cave blocked Sableyes attack and managed to dispel the other Pokemon.
Since Zubats are used to the dark and use sounds to „see“ the Pokemon accompanied the boy and lead him the way out of the cave.
From this day on the little Zubat became his Partner Pokemon.
As he grew up more and more things in the Pokemon world awoke his interests and he decided to become a Researcher.
His parents were quite disappointed because they had other plans for him, his father wanted him to become a Battle Major and his mother wanted him to become a Contest Luminary.
But he had neither battle strategy abilities nor any fashion sense.
